If you were anywhere near a game arcade in 1989, you probably plugged a few quarters into STRIDER. It was a side-scrolling action-fest that always left you gasping for breath and wanting more. STRIDER 2 took a while to make the trip from arcade to the PlayStation, but it was well worth the wait! You take the controls of Strider Hiryu and lead him through five levels of side-scrolling slicing and dicing action. Each of the five main levels is packed with mini-levels and is topped by a giant boss like a Chinese dragon, a six-headed hydra, and Strider Hien. Repeat players can unlock Strider Hien as a playable character, doubling the fun. The original arcade version of STRIDER is also included in the package. You can save games from both Striders on the same memory card to unlock a special waterfall level never seen before. You don't have to be an old-time arcade player to enjoy either version of STRIDER; experienced and greenhorn fans will start having fun the minute they pick up the controller.
Ya, it's not so bad other than the 2D Character sprite SLIGHTLY glitched. The game is full speed, and the 3D levels look amazing thanks to the Dreamcast's higher resolution, texture filtering and Anti Aliasing.
